For basically a dollar, you can get your item for sale exposed on this popular website. Alexa is rating it at 22,000, which is still a bit high, but definitely worthwhile. As a buyer, you can make offers and counter offers with the site’s interface. Most sites like Craigslist are often lacking this internal feature. Signing up is absolutely free, and after your dollar listing, optional pay features are available such as bold listing, or you can even buy a featured classified for $3 which will give you exposure on their front page. This is a great site like Craigslist with many useful features.
Okay, so the website is ugly. It still is getting a decent amount of traffic, ranking in around 23,000 with Alexa. Domestic Sale has a broad range of categories, and an ugly interace just like Craigslist. They have auto classifieds, real estate, computers autos, real estate, internet hosting, autos, computers and business advertisements. They even have a garage sale posting section which is great for getting the word out. Placing an ad is free, and if you are selling an odd piece, you might as well get it out to as many sites as possible, include this one in your list. Domestic Sale, another great site like Craigslist.
I like Epage. Anybody that has been to Craigslist knows the interface is just really dull and crappy. Epage is an absolutely free service, that offers the options to spruce up your classifieds for small fees. The navigation is fairly simple and posting a classified takes just a few minutes. The site has an Alexa traffic rank of 65,000, which is a bit on the high side, but it’s still worth a look and is deemed a site like Craigslist.
Well I’ve noticed an increasing trend in searches for Craigslist alternatives, and I’m always searching for them myself, so I figured I would make a blog about my discoveries. According to Alexa, it is one of the top 50 most visited sites on the internet. The daily visitors are increasing as well. As Craigslist grows, sites just like Craigslist are growing as well. If you are looking for an alternative adult section, you should probably consider searching elsewhere, because I’m focusing on the product / business aspects of Craigslist.
